Help bring the Juneteenth 2026 Celebration to life before the festivities begin! Set-Up Team volunteers will assist with preparing the event space by unloading supplies, arranging tables and chairs, placing signage, decorating, and helping vendors and community partners get situated. Volunteers should be comfortable walking, lifting light to moderate items, and working in a fast-paced environment as the celebration comes together. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and want to play an important behind-the-scenes role in creating a welcoming and successful community event. Early arrival and a positive attitude are appreciated!
Please be prepared to work outdoors in warm or hot weather conditions. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a hat, umbrella, water, sunblock, and light layers or coverage in case of inclement weather. Comfortable footwear is recommended as you will be on your feet for extended periods.
