The inclusion of an organization or person does not constitute an endorsement with respect to the competence, suitability, or reliability of such organization or person by the City of Albuquerque, nor does the City of Albuquerque sponsor or endorse any third-party website.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions of Use:
By electing to complete community service and use the Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) Community Service website, you agree to the Terms and Conditions listed below. From time to time, these Terms and Conditions may be revised by updating this document and posting it on the ASE Community Service website. All changes are effective immediately when we post them. Your continued use of this webpage following the posting of revised Terms of Use means you accept and agree to the changes.
Proof of Completion of Community Service Requirements:
To receive credit for community service hours completed, the applicable City department or organization must certify the completion. Services shall be rendered in not less than full hour increments and shall be credited against the fine payable at a rate of $25 per hour.
Default:
By electing to complete community service in lieu of payment of the ASE fine, you agree to complete four (4) hours of community service within ninety (90) days from the date of the ASE system fine notice. If you do not complete four (4) hours of community service within ninety (90) days from the date of the ASE system fine notice, you shall be considered in default, and responsible for payment of the remaining fine. If you do not pay the fine within fifteen (15) days, your debt may be forwarded to a collection agency, and the City may pursue all other remedies for collection of a debt.
ASE Community Service Participants:
You must use this system only for its intended purpose. The system’s use to send unsolicited email messages about products or services is expressly forbidden and will lead to the termination of user privileges.
Organizations:
You are solely responsible for registering your organizational profile and posting and updating your organizational listings. The City of Albuquerque reserves the right to edit and/or remove organizations or opportunities registered through the site without prior notice.
Each organization which posts profiles and listings with the ASE Community Service website warrants that it has an organizational presence and utilizes volunteers in Bernalillo County or counties directly adjacent to Bernalillo County. (Bernalillo County constitutes the primary service area of ASE Community Service; however, the City of Albuquerque recognizes that many people who live/work in Bernalillo County have strong ties in surrounding counties.)
Organizations using the site MUST approve hours submitted to their opportunities within 7 days of the date hours are submitted by the community service program participants.
Organizations must meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Is a legally incorporated nonprofit entity, or
- Is registered with the IRS as a tax-exempt entity, or
- Is a governmental entity, or
- Is a legally incorporated educational entity, or
- Is a faith-based organization recruiting volunteers to engage solely in health and human service type activities without any pre-condition or preference based upon religious affiliation or non-affiliation. Religious organizations may not utilize volunteers recruited through this website for any religious activities, including proselytizing, or
- Is a neighborhood association recognized by the City of Albuquerque, or
- Is a for-profit entity recruiting volunteers to engage in a subsidiary non-profit /humanitarian venture or in direct client contact, or
- Is an issue-oriented and/or advocacy organization which is either legally incorporated or registered with the IRS as a tax-exempt entity.
Organizations shall, above all else, provide a safe environment in which to complete community service. Organizations recruiting individuals through the ASE Community Service website assume all liability for the safety of individuals completing service, unless a liability waiver is signed by the individual. Even with a liability waiver, organizations must make all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of the individual completing community service and the population served by their organization. The City of Albuquerque cannot be held liable for outcomes resulting from third-party use of the ASE Community Service platform, and any party using the ASE Community Service platform, by so doing, expressly releases the City of Albuquerque from any such liability.
Organizations agree to provide regular maintenance of their organizational profile and listings, updating at least every six (6) months and as needed is a best practice. The City of Albuquerque reserves the right to deactivate any organization that the City of Albuquerque determines, in its sole discretion, does not keep their contacts and opportunities up to date.
The City of Albuquerque reserves the right to refuse or remove any organization which the City of Albuquerque has determined in its sole and exclusive discretion is engaged primarily in or utilizing ASE community service participants to advance, participate in, or provide support for any partisan or political efforts, without regard or preference to point-of-view or political/party affiliation.
All active opportunities posted on the ASE Community Service website may be shared and cross posted to any external website without additional approval from the organization posting the opportunity. All active opportunities posted on the ASE Community Service website are eligible to be publicized through City of Albuquerque media promotions.

City of Albuquerque uses reasonable commercial efforts to avoid disclosure of information which is confidential, privileged or nonpublic other than in accordance with this privacy policy.
Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
City of Albuquerque gathers personally identifiable data when voluntarily submitted by a user, which may include: name, addresses, zip codes, e-mail addresses, donor choice information, user groups, etc. For example, personally identifiable information may be collected in order to record a stated desire to donate online to City of Albuquerque via a direct gift or through a company sponsored campaign. This information is used solely by City of Albuquerque or other parties to the transaction for the purpose of executing the transaction, to improve your experience with us, and for the internal business purposes of City of Albuquerque.
