Casa Esperanza is a “home away from home” for families facing serious medical challenges, offering safe, supportive, and affordable lodging near Albuquerque hospitals.
What We Do
Casa Esperanza provides a welcoming home away from home for patients and their families who must travel to Albuquerque for medical care. Many of our guests come from rural communities across New Mexico, with 86% traveling more than 100 miles for treatment.
Beyond affordable lodging, we help ease the everyday burdens that come with a medical crisis by providing community meals, food boxes, gas cards, transportation, family activities, basic necessities, and other supportive services.
With the help of volunteers and community partners, we create a comfortable, caring place where families can focus on what matters most — being together and supporting their loved one.
