Help close out the Juneteenth 2026 Celebration smoothly and support the final steps of the event. Breakdown Team volunteers will assist with taking down tables, chairs, signage, decorations, and helping vendors and staff pack materials and supplies at the end of the day. Volunteers may also assist with cleanup and loading items into vehicles or storage areas to ensure the venue is left clean and organized. This role is ideal for dependable team players who are willing to stay after the celebration and help make sure everything is wrapped up safely and efficiently. Flexibility and teamwork are greatly appreciated!
Please be prepared to work outdoors in warm or hot weather conditions. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a hat, umbrella, water, sunblock, and light layers or coverage in case of inclement weather. Comfortable footwear is recommended as you will be on your feet for extended periods.
