our mission We serve people impacted by incarceration by building relationships with families, probationers, and returning citizens after their release from prison. Through discussion, mentoring, empowerment, and support we: Teach life skills and address the unique needs of family members. Strengthen families by helping them build Search Institute’s “40 Developmental Assets”.® Mobilize and network with community stakeholders to reach families in need. (Stakeholders include corrections, school systems, the justice system, congregations, civic organizations, and community programs).

Wings For L.I.F.E. - Life-skills Imparted to Families through Education (WFL) WFL is a truly remarkable program that has been providing life-changing support to families affected by incarceration since 2014. This program understands the challenges and difficulties faced by a marginalized and often forgotten population, such as the families of prisoners. While there are already numerous programs that are dedicated to rehabilitating inmates, Wings For L.I.F.E. takes a unique approach, focusing on empowering the families of inmates by imparting valuable life skills and important education. Through this empowering program, families are equipped to deal with issues caused by incarceration, learn coping mechanisms to reduce at-risk behaviors, and ultimately take control of their lives. Wings For LIFE International Provides: Educational weekly programs in Albuquerque, Farmington, Santa Fe, Espanola, East Mountains, and Las Cruces. WFL programs are also virtual on Zoom, Facebook, and YouTube, reaching a global audience. Wings Prison Family Days. Wings WORKS-a job training program for returning citizens, the homeless, and anyone who needs job skills. Wings For LIFE International Liberia-training, education, and support for Liberian program. Education, resources, support, kids activities, food, and hope are delivered to thousands of people every year.
